Adventist International Mission School (AIMS) proudly hosted its annual International Day — a vibrant celebration of global cultures and unity within our diverse school community. This special event took place on campus and brought together students, teachers, and parents in a colorful display of tradition, heritage, and learning.

One of the most anticipated highlights of the day was the Parade of Nations, where students dressed in traditional clothing from around the world. From Korean hanbok to Indian sarees, from Japanese yukata to African prints, and from European folk costumes to Thai cultural attire — the campus was transformed into a living gallery of world cultures. Each outfit was worn with pride, symbolizing the spirit of respect, inclusivity, and appreciation for cultural diversity.

The event featured:

  • Cultural performances, including traditional dances, songs, and short presentations by students representing different countries.
  • Classroom exhibitions, where each class showcased the culture, language, cuisine, and customs of a selected country.
  • A food festival, offering an array of international dishes prepared by students, parents, and staff — allowing everyone to taste flavors from across the globe.
  • Interactive games and activities that helped students learn more about geography, languages, and world traditions.

AIMS International Day is more than a celebration — it is an opportunity for students to embrace global citizenship, develop intercultural understanding, and recognize the beauty of diversity within the AIMS community. In a world that is increasingly connected, these experiences help nurture empathy, respect, and curiosity in our learners.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all the teachers, students, and parents who contributed to the success of this meaningful event. Your enthusiasm and teamwork brought the world into our school in the most joyful and educational way.
